AI, on your terms

As much AI as you want. Not one bit more.

Ask five store owners what they think about AI right now and you'll get five different answers, and none of them are wrong. Some people want it nowhere near their business. Some want it handling as much of the busywork as it safely can. We didn't build GameStoreOS to argue with either one. Every AI-assisted feature here is its own switch, and every switch starts off. What you turn on, and how much you lean on it, is yours to decide, not something we decided for you when we built it.

Here's the philosophy, and then the whole list of what it can actually do if you want it.

The short version

Three things worth knowing before the list.

Every switch starts off

Nothing here turns itself on. Not when you sign up, not when we ship a new one. You flip each one on when you’re ready, feature by feature, and not before.

Customers never talk to it

Every AI feature here is a tool for your staff, not a chatbot bolted onto your storefront. Anything AI drafts, a page, a post, an event, goes through the same publish step as anything you type yourself. If you don’t like what it wrote, it never went out.

It learns your store, not a script

Everything it writes or answers pulls from your store profile: what you carry, how you talk, what you’d never say. Update the profile and every answer and every draft follows it, instead of you explaining your store five separate times to five separate features.

How it gets to know you

One profile. Everything reads from it.

The store profile is a few pages of plain writing, not a form with two hundred checkboxes. What you carry, who comes in on league night, how you'd describe your store to someone walking in for the first time, what you'd never say. Every AI feature that writes anything, a site page, an announcement, a suggested event category, reads that document before it writes a word.

Update the profile once, and every one of those features follows the update. You're not teaching five different tools the same thing five separate times. And if writing a few pages of prose about your own store sounds like a chore, an interview walks you through it with questions instead, and builds the narrative for you as you answer.

What you can actually turn on

Four things. Each one its own switch.

Turn on one, turn on all four, or leave every one of them off. Nothing else about the product changes either way.

01

Ask how something works

What it does

Ask a plain-language question about GameStoreOS itself, in the admin or out loud on the phone, and get pointed straight at the answer or the screen that has it. No manual, no support ticket.

The switch

Read-only and staff-only. Turning it on can’t change anything in your store. It just answers questions about the product.

02

A first draft, not a blank page

What it does

Turn it on and the site builder, the announcement editor, and event-category suggestions can all offer a first pass, written in your store’s voice, that you edit or throw out. Nothing it writes reaches your public site or a customer until you publish it, same as anything you type by hand.

The switch

Off by default. Covers drafting help for your website, your announcements, and your event categories. Turn it off and you’re back to a blank page, exactly like before any of this existed.

03

Describe an event, skip the form

What it does

Tell it what you’re running, when, and where, in a sentence or two, and it fills in the rest of the event form and asks about only what it actually needs to know.

The switch

Off by default. Only touches the event you’re creating. It doesn’t publish anything or register a customer on its own.

04

The natural-language assistant

What it does

On the admin or out loud on the phone, ask about your own store: how many people are signed up for Friday, what a customer’s store credit balance is, and get the answer from your own data. Ask it to act, register someone for an event, check them in, approve a card request, and it shows you exactly what it’s about to do first.

The switch

Off by default, and layered: leave it read-only so it only answers questions, or open up exactly the kinds of changes you’re comfortable with. Store credit, payouts, staff, and your integration settings are off limits no matter what you turn on.
